Academy & Monthly Sessions

The Advanced Referee Academy is a monthly gathering designed to strengthen the knowledge and performance of soccer officials across Indiana. Each session brings participants together to explore a focused topic relevant to officiating, from law interpretation and game management to mechanics and mental preparation, with the goal of building stronger, more confident officials at every level. The Academy is open to all Indiana match officials, referee coaches, mentors, and team officials who want to invest in their own growth or support the development of others in the officiating community.  Attendance at these sessions is required for any match official applying to the Elite Referee Academy.  The sessions are led by Referee & Mentor Coordinator Jeff Swartzel but may also include guest speakers.
